I thought you might perhaps be interested to hear that what is referred to as a “stammer”

in Britain was considered attractive and quite posh and women, II think across a lot of the 20th century. I don’t think I’ve ever researched it. I think I just read it in novels and such, but it might be an interesting thing for you because when I think about it, I guess it was seen to indicate that you were demure and self-conscious, like blushing . I am completely speculating here, but I have done a lot on the history of gender in the UK and Europe, which used to be sometimes Europe ha ha…
